End ileostomy. An end ileostomy normally involves removing the whole of the colon (large intestine) through a cut in your abdomen. I had the end and then the loop. The end stuck out more and the whole was on the top. With the loop it was more towards the skin. This is why I needed convex for the loop and the barrier rings. I didn't need all that for the end.
